Credit partners on every Stripe sale, with no key of yours held
Refficks connects to your Stripe account as a platform. Payments, renewals and refunds arrive, and each sale is credited to the partner whose link or code brought it.
Stripe in Refficks
Connect once. Refficks keeps no key.
Refficks connects as a Stripe platform and keeps only your account's id. Nothing about Stripe needs a key pasted into Refficks.
- No merchant Stripe key is held at all
- A sale is credited through Stripe's own
client_reference_idor a visitor id on the checkout, so a site with no JavaScript can still credit partners - Partner codes pause when Stripe is disconnected, and come back when it reconnects
Three ways a Stripe sale finds its partner
A link, a checkout your code creates, or a code the buyer types. Each one ends at the same partner.
- Payment Links, Buy Buttons and Pricing Tables need no code: the script adds the referral code as
client_reference_id(the guide) - Checkout Sessions your app creates carry the visitor's id in their metadata: Next.js, Ruby on Rails, Django and Laravel
- Every partner's code becomes a real Stripe promotion code, and a code credits the sale even when nobody clicked
- A buyer who declines cookies can still be credited through the partner's code

Renewals keep paying. Refunds take their share back.
A plan pays once, on every renewal for a set number of months, or for as long as the customer pays.
- Every renewal keeps paying the partner who won the subscription
- A refund writes a reversal beside the original entry, taking back the refund's share
- A subscription sold through a payment link is credited only when Refficks knows the buyer another way, such as a sign-up on your site or the partner's code
Rewards paid into a customer's Stripe balance
For a referral program, a reward can be store credit on the customer's Stripe balance instead of money.
- Each credit is sent on a named button, one press per decision, never twice
- Store credit stays off until an owner or admin switches it on
- How referral programs work
Platforms that charge through your Stripe account
Stripe Managed Payments, and platforms that take payment in your own Stripe account, are credited from that account.
- Stripe Managed PaymentsPayment Links with Stripe as the merchant of record, collecting the tax for you. For stores moving from Lemon Squeezy too.
- CircleCircle paywall sales, credited from the payments in your own Stripe account.
- MemberstackMemberstack plans, credited from the Stripe checkouts Memberstack opens on your own Stripe account.
- PodiaPodia sales, credited from the payments Podia takes in your own Stripe account.
- MemberSpaceMemberSpace plans, credited from the payments MemberSpace takes in your own Stripe account.
What has been checked
Refficks has connected to a real Stripe account in test mode, partly. The rest is built from Stripe's documentation and tested against stand-ins, and every guide says before its steps what has been checked.
