Migration

Leaving Rewardful, FirstPromoter or Refersion? Or a spreadsheet?

Refficks reads your export, or your account, and shows you what is in it before anything is imported. The bad line is named. Nothing happens until you say so.

The What we found card after a file is read: Partners 5, and of 6 rows read, 5 look fine and 1 cannot be imported. None of it is in the account yet.
The Does it add up card: 6 in the file, 0 here; 1 could not be read, 5 not imported yet; then a line-by-line table ending with line 7, Could not be read, This row is empty.
Six rows read: five look fine, one cannot be imported, and line 7 says why. None of it is in the account yet.

Your columns, recognised as they come

Upload any spreadsheet with a header row, or read a programme straight from Rewardful, FirstPromoter or Refersion with your key. Column names are recognised as they come, and you check the guesses before anything is saved.

  • A spreadsheet, or a Rewardful, FirstPromoter or Refersion key
  • The key is deleted at cutover or after 60 days
  • Each guessed column is marked, and saving the mapping imports nothing

Precisely: The Rewardful, FirstPromoter and Refersion connectors are built from the platforms' documentation and have not yet read a real account.

The Start a migration card: a name, Off LeadDyno, and where the programme is now, CSV or spreadsheet, with the note that it works with anything that has a header row.
The What your partner columns mean card: each column of the file, email, first_name, last_name, company, marked Guessed, with sample values and the field it becomes.
Read back first

How many rows, how many can be imported, and which cannot

Before import, the file is read back to you: how many rows, how many can go in, and which lines cannot and why. One bad row never loses the file. The report names each failed line.

  • Re-importing never duplicates anyone
  • A partner already here is left alone, or has only their empty fields filled in, unless you ask otherwise
  • Imported partners are ordinary partners: the same audit trail, the same welcome automation, the same everything
The Does it add up card: 6 in the file, 0 here; 1 could not be read, 5 not imported yet; then a line-by-line table ending with line 7, Could not be read, This row is empty.

What comes across, and what deliberately does not

For each of the old platform's statuses, you say what it means here. Money is handled more carefully than that, and this is the trade.

  • Paid history is theirs

What the old platform already paid comes across as that platform's reported figure, labelled as theirs. It never becomes payable here.

  • What is still owed is an opening balance

Its own entry type, never presented as Refficks's arithmetic, and pending until you approve it.

  • Why

A ledger that only holds money it can explain is the product. An imported total has no arithmetic behind it, so it is kept beside the ledger, not inside it.

The shadow run

Exactly one system pays

While the old platform still pays, Refficks records what it would have paid, pays none of it, and every morning compares the last 28 days partner by partner. When you switch, a sale belongs to whichever side of the cutover moment its money changed hands on.

  • Nothing is paid twice, and nothing is paid by nobody
  • A sale is judged by when it happened, not by when Refficks heard about it
  • After cutover, Refficks warns if a partner's earnings drop
The Switching over card: Refficks pays your partners, a sale is judged by when it happened, and the Before you switch checklist: your partners are in Refficks, the import adds up, money still owed is decided, events are arriving.

Start the migration on day one of the trial. Reading an export changes nothing, and the shadow run needs time to be worth reading.
