Can I manage my affiliate program from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Claude and ChatGPT can connect to Refficks, read what your role may read, and save drafts. No tool they can call approves, reverses or pays a commission, changes who a sale is credited to, suspends a partner, or sends anything. Ask who is doing well, why a sale was credited, or what the next payout run would pay.
What a connected app can read
- Your partners, and one partner's figures, scores and open recommendations (risk only for a manager or above)
- How a program did over a window, and who did most of it
- Commission totals by status and currency, and how each commission was worked out, with its plan, reversals and payout
- Payouts, but never where the money was sent, and a preview of who the next run would pay and skip (for an admin or owner)
- Why a sale was credited to a partner
- Who is waiting to join, without their names (for a manager or above)
What it can save, for a person to read and send
- A message to a partner, as a draft in their Messages
- An announcement, as a draft on a program's board
What it can never do
- Approve, reject, reverse or recalculate commission
- Create, approve or settle payouts, or mark them paid
- Change who a sale is credited to
- Change anybody's rate, tier, plan or program membership
- Suspend, archive or remove partners, or decide applications
- Send an email or a message, or publish anything
- See where partners are paid, or their bank or payment details
- Change settings, team members or API keys
Precisely: Refficks is an MCP server, at https://go.refficks.com/mcp. The things above are not things an app is trusted not to do: no tool for them exists. It is not given your customers' names or email addresses either, and every request it makes is recorded.
How do I connect Claude or ChatGPT to Refficks?
- An owner or admin opens Settings › Partners and payouts › AI assistance and ticks Let people on this team connect AI apps on the Connected AI apps card.
- Copy the address the card gives you.
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode, then add an app. Paste the address.
- Sign in to Refficks as yourself when the app asks, choose your workspace, read what it will be able to do, and press Allow.
- Ask it something, such as “Which partners brought in the most revenue last month?”
Anybody with the analyst, manager, admin or owner role can connect an app, and it sees only what that role lets them see. Owners and admins are emailed as soon as somebody connects one.
What to keep in mind
- What Claude reads goes to Anthropic, and what ChatGPT reads goes to OpenAI, under your agreement with them. Refficks does not see your conversation.
- Removing Refficks inside Claude does not end the connection. Disconnect it on the Connected AI apps card too. A connection unused for 90 days stops by itself.
- Your app's other connectors are its own. If it can also send email or browse, what it read in Refficks can go there, so read what it wants to send before you let it.
- Text other people wrote, such as a partner's application answers, reaches your app marked as somebody else's text. That makes a hidden instruction less likely to be followed, not impossible, which is why nothing an app can do moves money or reaches a partner without a person.
- Each row on the card has See what it did: every request the app made, in words.

Does Refficks have an MCP server?
Yes. Refficks is an MCP server at https://go.refficks.com/mcp. Claude and ChatGPT connect to it as a custom connector, after an owner or admin switches connected apps on.
Can ChatGPT or Claude approve affiliate payouts in Refficks?
No. No tool a connected app can call approves, reverses or pays a commission, or creates or settles a payout. It can read, and save drafts a person sends.
Does a connected app see partners' bank details?
No. No tool hands over where partners are paid, their bank or payment details, a phone number, or a customer's name or email.
Is this the same as the assistant inside Refficks?
No. The in-app assistant uses Refficks's own model and has no tools at all. A connected app is your own Claude or ChatGPT, under your agreement with its maker, and each is switched on separately.
