Thinkific sends every course payment to Refficks, signed. Each one is credited to the partner whose link brought the buyer or whose coupon they used, and on Thinkific Payments a refund takes the commission back.
Can Refficks track Thinkific affiliate sales?
Yes. Refficks reads every Thinkific course payment, including each payment of a subscription or payment plan, from webhooks signed with your site's signing secret. A sale is credited to the partner whose link brought the buyer or whose coupon they used. On Thinkific Payments, a refund takes the commission back and a canceled subscription stops paying.

Precisely: commission is worked out on each payment less its tax. Connecting needs webhooks with a signing secret, which Thinkific is still rolling out to every site.
What Refficks does not do on Thinkific
These are the parts Thinkific does not report, or that Refficks leaves alone. The guide says the same, above its steps.
- Thinkific reports refunds and cancellations only for Thinkific Payments. A refund through Stripe or PayPal connected to Thinkific is reversed by hand.
- Thinkific does not run the Order Tracking Code for free courses, so a free enrolment is not credited through a link.
- Refficks cannot make a partner's coupon in Thinkific. You make it there, spelt the same.
- If Thinkific takes payments through your own Stripe account and that account is connected to Refficks too, a subscription payment can be reported by both. Connect one of them for these sales.
- Thinkific's own affiliate program is not read. If you run both, a sale can earn a commission in each.
How do I connect Thinkific to Refficks?
- In Refficks, open Thinkific under Integrations and press Connect to get your address.
- In Thinkific, open Settings → Code & analytics → Webhooks and make three webhooks to that address: Transactions → Succeeded, Transactions → Refunded and Subscriptions → Cancelled, with the same signing secret. Paste the secret into Refficks and save.
- Paste the Refficks script into Thinkific's Site Footer Code, and on your own website if partners' links go there first.
- Paste the script and the one-line call Refficks gives you into the Order Tracking Code, so the thank-you page names the buyer.
- Send a test event from the Succeeded webhook. It shows Thinkific reaches Refficks and records no sale.

Questions about Thinkific and Refficks
Does a Thinkific refund take the affiliate's commission back?
On Thinkific Payments, yes: Refficks writes a reversal for the refund's share beside the commission, and if the partner was already paid it comes off what they earn next. A refund through Stripe or PayPal connected to Thinkific is not reported, so you reverse it yourself.
Does Refficks pay recurring commission on Thinkific subscriptions?
Yes, if your commission plan says so. Every subscription and payment-plan payment is recorded, and a canceled subscription stops paying its partner.
Can Thinkific commissions approve themselves?
Yes. Thinkific signs every delivery, so a commission plan that approves by itself works for Thinkific sales.
Do I need my own Stripe account connected as well?
No. Connect Thinkific alone. If you also connect the Stripe account Thinkific charges through, a subscription payment can be reported twice, so choose one for these sales.
